i know what love is

i know what love is;
it is inside i.
the i with an eye
that sees the mind–
vividly–
with no question;
never denied.

i know what love is;
it is i.
it is i who sees the eye
that sees love
in my eye.

i was never lost;
am always found.
i know what love is;
it’s when heart and passion are bound.

teamwork: what does it really mean?

It took a team of three 2.5 months to finally feel like a team. What teamwork really comes down to is looking at the goal of the team and working backwards…together.

The goal of a team is to make the team work in the end - where everyone is happy. The objective is to deliver results. Every single person wants the team to deliver results when solving a problem.

Now come the barriers in working in a team. Barriers are forces such as ego, ignorance, envy, veto, assertion, arrogance and countless other character traits that make the experience challenging.

Some teams work much better than others due to having less barriers for compliance. It’s not about liking a person. Liking a person’s personality doesn’t define whether you will reach your objective as a group.

The most important lesson I have learnt is acceptance. If you don’t accept people for who they are due to their circumstances, their environment, their mentality and their work ethics, you will end up with emotion thoughts of anger and contempt. I also learnt that you can always learn more about yourself when you are faced with situations that you despise. You learn about your strengths and weaknesses and you learn to bend. Bending is important — not to an extent of passivity but as far as accepting that plans will not always go your way, even if you believe that they should highly be considered and executed in that direction.

There are endless directions to go for solving a problem; it’s up to each team member for acknowledging that as a fact and its existence in every individual’s mentality — this can take some time. It is all valid — there is no right or wrong. Solve the problem, agree on it, and you’re a team.

i am a dream

i’m a dreamer
i don’t live in a dream

i am
a dream

i’m a dreamer
living a dream
dreams are never planned
dreams are just dreamt
they last a whole life span

so i dream loving
i dream with my heart
i dream while running
each second a moving start

i’m a happy dream
never a nightmare
even when i scream
life’s still moving right there

they say i should awake
i ask them why
they say my life is at stake
i say no
i’m a dream til’ i die

train of thought: a person

a literal “train of thought”…as in, thoughts on the train

the idea of a person is a
train of thought;
thoughts enhance emotions.

the figure of a person is a
fashion of body;
bodies direct movement.

the energy of a person is a
muscle of silence;
silence translates language.

candy podcast

I love Chuck; he’s just so awesome. Chuck is the invaluable web developer (alongside Jason — the right-brain and left-brain super hero in the office) at SamataMason and since day one we’ve been right up there with the tech talk; everyday I take a couple breaks and go in their corner of the office and knock off some jokes and chillax. Chuck introduced me to Second Life, Twitter, cool websites and he also informed me of him and his family’s Candy Podcast and invited me to be a guest on their next show — which had been on hiatus since last October. Chuck’s mother-in-law Pamela owns a candy shop in Algonquin Illinois — a small town with cute little shops. Chuck always has candy in the cabinet by his desk that he brings from her store and shares with the office — no, that’s not the reason why I’m in their corner of the office twice a day.

Last Thursday, Chuck and I took our lunch break at Hi Sweetie — (no we didn’t have candy for lunch) we picked out some candy for the Candy Podcast show that we were going to record at Chuck’s house in the evening. We picked up some mandarin salads from Wendy’s on the way and headed down to the shop.

Hi Sweetie is like candy antique store. Pamela has a colourful and collections of candies from all around the world for all different tastes buds. I hope the pictures speak for themselves.Hi Sweetiehi sweetie peach candyhi sweetiechuck picking out the sweetsmore candyit’s me with posing with the purple lollyooo look at thaaatmore around the cornerwin wonka!gummies!a sweet package to go and taste!

After our quest to Algonquin for some sugar, we went back to work and Chuck emailed me and let me know that his lovely wife Dayna had ordered Chinese food and her son Charlie, baby Carson and Val were awaiting our arrival at their awesome-looking home.

Yummy dinner followed by yummy dessert. The Candy Podcast is about Chuck and his family with occasional featured guests to part take in rating candy from 1 to 5. This was a super cool experience. I had so much fun! Thanks for having me guys! I know you’re reading this.
here’re the sweets of the showthats

Okay so everyone, listen to our show: Candy Podcast 36. You can subscribe to their fun show on iTunes of you can just play it right off of candypodcast.com Here are the results and the candies we tried.
